See and feel the real material before you commit to a full shelving project. This 5-inch (127 mm) length of solid brass tube is cut from the same stock we use for every BrassShelf system — so the diameter, weight, and finish match your final installation exactly.

Price includes UPS Air shipping to the U.S. (3–4 days). Additional samples in the same order are just $5 each — compare all three diameters and both finishes in one shipment. The $35 sample cost is credited toward your custom shelving order.

Available Diameters

• 15/32" (12 mm) — slim profile for hanging rails and light-duty shelving
• 5/8" (16 mm) — our most popular size for kitchen, bar, and pantry shelving
• 1" (25 mm) — heavy-duty, architectural scale for commercial and hospitality projects

Finishes

• Unlacquered Brushed (Satin) Brass — soft, matte grain that develops a warm, even patina
• Unlacquered Polished Brass — mirror-bright surface that ages into a rich, living finish

Both finishes are solid brass — not plated, not coated, no lacquer. The surface will naturally patina over time with handling and exposure to air.
